EYELASH EXTENSIONS

WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS AND HOW DO THEY WORK?

Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent synthetic fibers applied to each natural lash with professional-grade adhesive. A certified lash artist isolates each natural lash and applies the extension with specialized adhesive for a natural, comfortable fit. They enhance length, fullness, and curl for a defined look. As your natural lashes grow and shed, the extensions fall out with them, so regular fills are necessary to keep them full.

HOW LONG DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?

Eyelash extensions typically last 5-8 weeks. For a full look, clients typically return for fills every 2-4 weeks, depending on how much needs replacing.

DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS COME IN DIFFERENT SIZES AND THICKNESSES?

Yes! Extensions vary in length, thickness, and curl. Your lash artist will customize the set based on your natural lashes and desired style.

ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS SAFE?

Yes! We use professional-grade adhesive specifically for eyelash extensions. When applied properly, they should feel lightweight and natural.

HOW LONG DOES THE APPLICATION TAKE?

A full set takes 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the style and density of your natural lashes. The process is meticulous and should never be rushed.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CLASSIC, BLENDED, AND VOLUME LASHES?

Classic: One extension per natural lash for a natural look.
Blended: A mix of classic and volume for a fuller, wispy effect.
Volume: 2-6+ lightweight extensions per natural lash for a fluffy, dramatic look.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TO CHOOSE FOR MYSELF?

Your lash artist will guide you based on your eye shape and natural lashes. Feel free to bring inspiration photos for your artist!

CAN I STILL WEAR EYE MAKEUP?

Yes! However, many clients find they no longer need as much eye makeup with lash extensions. Avoid oil-based or waterproof makeup. Use LashWash to safely remove makeup without affecting retention.

CAN I WEAR MASCARA?

No, mascara can clump extensions and is difficult to remove. It can also affect retention.

CAN I PERM OR CURL MY EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

No, extensions are pre-curled. Perming or curling can damage them. Consider a Lash Lift for a natural curl instead.

WILL EYELASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?

No, if applied and maintained correctly. Natural lashes shed daily, and extensions fall out with them.

I’VE HAD A REACTION TO LASH EXTENSIONS BEFORE. CAN I STILL GET THEM?

Most lash adhesives on the market contain similar ingredients—even the ones labeled ‘hypoallergenic.’ If you have concerns about sensitivity, we strongly advise against taking the risk. However, we do offer patch tests to check for any adverse reactions before your appointment!

DOES OUTLASH DO FILLS FROM OTHER ARTISTS?

It depends! If your current extensions are well-applied and not causing any damage, we may be able to fill over them for an additional charge. However, if they’re in poor condition, your artist will likely recommend a removal and a fresh Full Set for the best results. We recommend booking a Full Set if you are unsure to ensure your technician has enough time to give you the best outcome.

THINKING ABOUT LASH EXTENSIONS? PLEASE READ BELOW!

Arrive on Time: Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you’re late and it affects other clients, we may need to reschedule.

Come Makeup-Free: If possible, arrive with a clean face and no eye makeup. If you’re coming from work, you can wash your face at our studio. Avoid getting your lashes wet for at least 24 hours after your appointment, so we recommend showering or washing your hair beforehand.

No Contact Lenses: Please do not wear contacts to your appointment, as they can cause dryness and irritation.

Plan for Application Time: A full set of lashes takes 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the style. Lash application is a meticulous process, and we never rush to ensure the best results.

LASH AFTERCARE:

1. Avoid Water & Steam for 24 Hours
Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours to allow the adhesive to fully cure. This means no steam rooms, saunas, or swimming during this time.

2. Limit Heat & Steam Exposure
Lash extensions can withstand steam rooms, saunas, hot tubs, and pools, but frequent exposure may shorten their lifespan.

3. Cleanse Regularly with LashWash
Use LashWash 3x per week (or daily if you wear makeup or have oily skin). Our specially formulated cleanser is safe for extensions and helps maintain retention.

4. Avoid Oil-Based Products
Do not use oil-based cleansers, makeup removers, or moisturizers around your eyes, as they break down the adhesive.

5. Be Gentle – No Rubbing!
Instead of rubbing your eyes, gently pat them dry—it’s better for both your lashes and the delicate skin around your eyes.

6. Never Pull Off Your Extensions
Pulling on your extensions can damage your natural lashes. If you need them removed, visit a trained lash technician for a safe removal.

7. No Lash Curlers or Mascara
Eyelash curlers and mascara can cause clumping, breakage, and poor retention.

8. Book Regular Fills
To keep your lashes looking their best, schedule a fill every 2-3 weeks. Easily book online!

ARE YOU GOING AWAY ON HOLIDAY? SPECIAL EVENT COMING UP?

For brides-to-be or those heading on holiday, we recommend scheduling at least two appointments before your wedding to ensure no allergic reactions to the adhesive and to allow time for any adjustments.

COSMETIC TATTOO

COSMETIC TATTOO IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CLIENTS WHO ARE:

Pregnant or nursing
Diabetic
Undergoing chemotherapy (consult your doctor)
Have a history of viral infections
Had Botox within 2 weeks of the appointment (before or after)
Have a history of organ transplant
Have a history of epilepsy
Sick with a cold or flu
Have used Accutane in the last 6 months

HOW LONG DOES COSMETIC TATTOOING LAST?

Cosmetic tattoos are semi-permanent, with the duration influenced by factors like skin type. Since everyone’s skin is unique, results can vary. Touch-ups may be needed after 1-2 years to keep the appearance fresh.

IS IT PAINFUL?

Pain tolerance varies per client. A numbing solution is applied before and during the procedure to help make the experience as comfortable as possible.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL

HOW DOES IT WORK? Laser hair removal is targeted to remove unwanted hair for both men and women. A concentrated beam of light is directed and gets absorbed by the pigment in the hair itself. The heat from the laser penetrates down to the root, which in turn, dramatically reduces the hair from further growth. This method of hair removal is the only proven cure for ingrown hair and razor bumps.

DOES IT HURT? Many clients compare the sensation of laser pulses to tiny rubber band snaps—quick and tolerable! Our laser is designed with advanced cooling technology that continuously soothes the skin throughout the treatment, minimizing discomfort both during and after the procedure for a more comfortable experience.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED? Typically 6-8 treatments are recommended, but it may be more or less. Results are unique to each individual dependent on hair thickness, the area treated and your hair’s growth cycle.

HOW OFTEN DO I HAVE TO COME IN? Hair grows in cycles, typically every 4-6 weeks depending on the part of the body, however, this will vary with each individual.

DO I SHAVE IN BETWEEN TREATMENTS? The only time we require you to shave is 24-48 hours before your appointment. We ask that you wait 10 days after your treatment before shaving.

Immediately following your laser hair removal treatment, After your laser hair removal treatment, you may notice some redness and slight swelling in the treated area—this is completely normal and typically subsides within a few hours. To ensure the best results, avoid waxing or plucking between sessions, as this can interfere with the process. However, shaving is perfectly fine if needed!

HOW MANY TIMES DO I NEED TO SCHEDULE THIS TREATMENT? We suggest that you come in for four to six laser skin treatments to achieve maximum results. We also advise that you keep an ongoing schedule of treatments to maintain improvements you see.

HOW DO I KNOW IF THIS TREATMENT IS FOR ME? If you are looking for a safe, quick, and effective laser skin treatment that tightens skin, and rejuvenates, then this treatment is perfect for you!

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN I COME IN? With Laser Genesis, you will not have to use ice, gel, or any anesthetic before your laser skin treatment. You will be asked to remove any makeup and/or moisturizers, and in some cases, you may be asked to shave the area treated. Your technician will inform you of what you need to do before your scheduled appointment.

Clients report that the procedure is, in fact, relaxing and therapeutic. During your skin tightening treatment, you should feel a warming of your skin and that is it! You can return to your normal activities as soon as it’s complete.

Our nd:YAG Laser Genesis penetrates 1064 nm below the skin’s surface to deep clean by annihilating debris, dirt, and dead skin cells. All while killing acne causing bacteria and minimizing oil secretion . DERMAPLANING

WHAT IS DERMAPLANING? Dermaplaning is a deep exfoliating treatment where 28 days worth of dead skin cells built up on the skins surface are sloughed off using a medical grade scalpel. When the peach fuzz and dead skin are removed, the skin underneath is free to absorb product and breathe.

DOES IT HURT? No! Dermaplaning does not hurt at all, the sensation is like a light scraping of the surface of the skin. You should not feel any discomfort at all.

WON’T THE PEACH FUZZ GROW BACK THICKER? No. This is a common myth, but the peach fuzz (vellus) hairs on the skin will only grow back the way they have always been - light and peachy.

CAN I WEAR MAKEUP AFTER THIS TREATMENT? Absolutely, in fact, dermaplaning makes your makeup application smoother and with less texture. Hello highlighter!

MICRONEEDLING

WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING? Microneedling (also referred to as collagen induction therapy) involves using a specially designed needling device to stimulate collagen production in the skin, minimising the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, enlarged pores, and pitted acne scarring.

DOES IT HURT? Prior to beginning the treatment, your technician will apply numbing cream to the treatment area - so you won't feel any discomfort at all.

WHAT’S THE DOWNTIME AFTER THIS TREATMENT? After this treatment you will need to avoid wearing makeup for at least 48 hours as the skin heals. You'll also need to avoid sun exposure for 48 hours, and after that wear a high, duel SPF to protect your skin while out in the sun. A detailed post-treatment care list will be provided to you following your treatment.
